Navin Raheja is a passionate wildlifer and had been a member of the
Steering Committee of Project Tiger, under the Ministry of Environment
and Forests, Government of India. His PIL in Supreme court of India
since 1997 has succeeded in delivering several orders that were
instrumental in turnaround of tiger conservation mission.
For the first time in the world, Navin Raheja has successfully pioneered in rehabilitation of Leopard and Tiger Cubs in the wild.Navin Raheja wildlife films are weekly telecast on Indian national channel Doordarshan continuously for past two years.
Navin Raheja has introduced a system of primary education with the facilities of day care centers for the children of the laborers on each site where they are provided with all the three meals, clothes and books in order to make them responsible citizens in the future.
